Supported environment cinema screenings at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff

Disability Wales

Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff are holding supported environment film screenings for disabled people and their carers. The screenings are designed for people with autism and/or a learning disability, their families, friends and carers. During the film, low lights are left on inside the auditorium and the volume of the soundtrack is reduced. Cinemagoers are free to move around, make a noise or take a break during the film if they need to - these are activities not usually encouraged at regular film screenings.

On Saturday 26 January Chapter will be showing The Penguin King, written and narrated by David Attenborough. A full programme of films will follow soon.
