Officers are appealing for information following the theft of a black Vauxhall Corsa from Chequered Flag Car Sales, Porth.

Car part belonging to a Corsa stolen from Porth, was dumped two days later in The Five Mile Lane, Barry.
The car was taken for a test drive on 4th January 2014 but was never returned.

Its bulkhead – identified through the Chasis number – was found two days later, dumped in a recess along the A4226, known as The Five Mile Lane, Barry.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen a vehicle acting suspiciously along a section of the lane close to Northcliffe Farm Shop, to contact them.

It is likely that the car part was dumped late on Sunday or during the morning of Monday, 6th January 2014.

Anyone with information is urged to call South Wales Police’s non emergency 101 number or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
