Road Safety Plans Cwmbach

Road Safety Plans Cwmbach

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council continues to develop proposals for a traffic safety scheme in Llangorse Road, Grasmere Drive and Coniston Rise, Cwmbach.

As a result of previous consultation on the scheme with members of the community and other stakeholders, held last December, several minor amendments have been made to the proposals.

These include introducing additional waiting restrictions on Llangorse Road and Cwmbach Road.

The current proposals still include:

Provision of a 20mph speed limit and traffic calming.
Removal of grass verges along part of Llangorse Road to enable the widening of the road.
Details of the amended proposals along with a summary of comments received during the initial period of consultation may be viewed by clicking on the following link;

Traffic Consultations

The next stage of the consultation process is to initiate a period of Public Notice, where details of the scheme are advertised to allow opportunity for members of the public to formally make representations in relation to the scheme. Therefore, if you wish to comment on the proposals, you should do so in writing by 8th April 2013 to the Traffic Manager, Traffic Management, Sardis House, Sardis Road, Pontypridd, CF37 1DU. Alternatively comments can be sent via email to trafficservices@rctcbc.gov.uk
