The five health boards in South Wales - Cwm Taf, Abertawe Bro Morgannwg, Aneurin Bevan, Cardiff and Vale, and Powys - today published the responses to the initial engagement exercise on the South Wales Programme.
All five are working together on a programme which will see see major changes in the delivery of key health services including neo-natal, paediatric in-patient and A&E. The Boards wil now analyse the repsonses and come back with more defined proposals to go out to public consultation in the Spring.
The initial RCT Welsh Liberal Democrat response can be found on the link. We will of course be engaging further with the consultation process and would encourage others to do so. There are a number of questions which still need answering, and assurances which will need to be given but given the problems which exist in the Healh Service in Wales no change is not an option.
