We will be launching a recruitment drive for Special Constables on 10th June 2014.
Special Constables play a vital role in policing South Wales, performing their duties around their day jobs as volunteers.
If you’re looking for a challenge outside of your day job, being a Special Constable can open up a world of opportunity. You’ll see more parts of life and human nature than most will ever see, and have the same powers as regular police officers.
Did you know?
If you are successful in the application process and take up the role as a special constable, after a qualifying period you will be eligible to apply as an internal candidate for the role of police officer. Internal candidates successful in a police officer recruitment process are provided with the Certificate of Knowledge of Policing for free.
