Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is delighted to announce that Ponty’s Big Weekend IS returning for 2014!

A star-studded line-up of acts (yet to be announced) will headline at Ynysangahard War Memorial Park, Pontypridd, on Sunday, July 20.

Cllr Maureen Webber, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cabinet Member for Council Business and Public Relations, said: “The Council and its partners, Orchard Entertainment, are now working hard to finalise what is set to be a sensational line-up of top UK acts, and local talent, for the flagship event.

“We are looking forward to, once again, welcoming thousands of music fans from across Rhondda Cynon Taf, South Wales and the rest of the UK to our beautiful park.

“As well as being a chance to put on a fantastic show and place Rhondda Cynon Taf on the music map, Ponty’s Big Weekend is also an essential way for us to support local businesses and boost the local economy.”

All previous Ponty’s Big Weekend events have been complete sell-outs, with headline acts including JLS, Olly Murs, Little Mix, Sugababes, Union J, The Overtones, Alfie Boe and The Wanted.
