A new television series which follows the work of police staff and officers across South Wales Police begins on Wednesday (January 16th).

Police 24/7 is a BBC Wales production presenting a week with South Wales Police and highlights the work of officers and police staff throughout the force.

Following a week of round-the-clock filming in October the first of four half-hour long episodes is being shown on Wednesday.

The show will feature officers and staff from across the force including Response officers and Neighbourhood Policing Teams, as well as the Roads Policing Unit, Mounted Division, Custody Suites and the Air Support Unit.

The episodes will broadcast as follows:

Episode One Wednesday 16th January 2013
Episode Two Wednesday 23rd January 2013
Episode Three Wednesday 30th January 2013
Episode Four Wednesday 6th February 2013
