Plaid accused of hypocrisy over ‘cancer contract’ pledge
Commenting on Plaid Cymru’s announcement of a ‘Cancer Contract, a spokesman for the Welsh Conservatives said:
“They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery, but in reality Plaid’s copycat cancer policy is a pale imitation of our Cancer Patients Fund.
“It’s also extremely rich for Plaid to say that the Welsh Government has failed in its responsibility to cancer patients, when it’s Plaid Cymru’s budget deals with Labour that have devastated the Welsh NHS – depriving frontline services of hundreds of millions of pounds since 2011.
“Only the Welsh Conservatives can deliver the change that Welsh cancer patients need. Plaid have propped the Labour Party up time and time again, and are itching to do the same in May given half a chance."
