LukeBoland4_w.jpg

Photography staff and alumni from the University of South Wales will see their work go on show today (Thursday 15 May) at the launch of a major international exhibition.

The show, entitled Brirish: The Different Ways of feeling at Documentary Photography, opens at the Rizhoma Gallery in Palermo, Italy.

It will feature photographs by Dr Paul Cabuts, Associate Head of the School of Art and Design at the University, as well as work by Documentary Photography graduates Shane Lynam, Alexander Norton and Luke Boland, and third year Documentary Photography student Michael Alberry.

Brirish refers to the different cultural identities of the photographers – including Welsh, Irish, Slovakian and American – and draws comparisons between the different generations of artists.
