‘Leaving the Building’ is a new publication co-edited by graduate Matt Colquhoun and Photographic Art course leader Peter Bobby, and designed by final year student Oliver Norcott.

It features the work of 35 graduating students, along with an essay written by Matt and a foreword by David Drake, Director of Ffotogallery in Cardiff.

To launch the publication, a branded mobile library will make its way from Spike Island in Bristol, before moving on to the Riverfront Arts Centre in Newport and ending its journey at the University’s Cardiff Campus, ready for the opening night of Flourish/Ffynnu graduate showcase on 30th May.

A unique DJ set by Matt Colquhoun, which responds to the title and themes of the publication, will be performed inside the mobile library on the Flourish/Ffynnu launch night.

The work featured in ‘Leaving the Building’ will be exhibited at the University’s City Campus, Newport, from 5th to 12th June in the Gallery space and Black Box studio.
