Dear Councillors Bates, Smith, Webber, Williams, Powderhill, Carter, Morgan, Cass and Leyshon,

It has been nearly two months since I first asked you all to answer the questions I have been asked time and time again by the electorate of wards you represent and elsewhere as to why you have ignored their views on the retention of the paddling pool in Ynysangharad Park etc.

From the lack of response I think we can take it that you have no intention of addressing any of the questions I openly posed to yourselves. Is it because you have no answer to them or do you think that by ignoring them you will absolve yourselves of the decisions you have supported? Indeed we now have the local MP and AM supporting your stance and continuing to use the phrase "misinformation"!
So, to you all, MP and AM included, I ask, who is putting this "misinformation" out and what is it? Have you seen the secret business plan and if so can you enlighten us mushrooms as to its content because trust me we do seem to be being treated like mushrooms, being kept in the dark and being fed lots of manure. Again I won't be holding my breath for an answer, as to answer the questions would debag the stance being taken by the elected Labour members in our area and of RCT as a whole.

Can I ask you to do something which you all appear to be very good at: Can you all have a meeting behind closed doors and have a good hard and long look at your actions and review the secret reasoning behind this disgraceful behaviour of yours and see if you can persuade your RCT colleagues to do what is right and retain the paddling pool for the future generations of the whole of the borough to use and enjoy? I am sure that there is still a chance for you all to save some dignity out of the sordid behaviour and total disregard for the trust put in you to represent the people's views, and the views of many thousands of people who want the pool retained. Indeed some of them may even vote for you all again if you were to do this honourable thing. And if possible can you please let us mushrooms know what you decide?
Again I won't be holding my breath for any sort of reasoned response but I will live in hope.
