Founded in 1946 under the auspices of the Trecynon and District Welfare Association, the Coliseum Amateur Operatic Society opened with its first production of "The Vagabond King".

We are a local walking group of the Ramblers Association. Although based in the Cynon Valley, our group members are also drawn from many of the towns and villages of the surrounding valleys. Our location, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, allows us easy access to fantastic walking opportunities. While the Black Mountains, the Usk and Wye Valleys and the Gower are all within easy travelling distance.
