On presenting the £200 cheque Stuart Morris, Brecon and Radnor NFU Cymru County Chairman explained why helping young farmers is so important to NFU Cymru. He said, “The activities of the YFC are essential to rural life and the farming industry in Wales and NFU Cymru is delighted to be able to sponsor its most prestigious event. NFU Cymru has always been proactive in showing its support for young farmers in Wales and long may it continue.”
On accepting the cheque Helen Evans, Brecknock YFC County Chairman said, “Our partnership with NFU Cymru is invaluable in allowing our members the opportunity to participate in competitions that contribute to their ongoing personal development. The sponsorship has meant that many young farmers have been able to take part in Brecnock YFC’s pinnacle agricultural event, so on behalf of our members I would like to thank NFU Cymru for their generous donation.”
