Llantrisant’s new NFU Cymru/NFU Mutual office has been officially opened by the Lord-Lieutenant of mid Glamorgan, Kate Thomas.
Speaking at the event, just after cutting the ribbon across the front door, Kate Thomas said, “Congratulations to the Group Secretary, Karen Yates and her team on their fantastic new office. All the staff here are pleasant, friendly and offer a high level of service which has now been complimented by a high quality new office.”
NFU Cymru President, Stephen James, who also attended the opening said, “This new office is a great working environment and is in an excellent location. Karen has been in the agency for 34 years and is well respected in the area, she has a positive attitude and I wish her and the team all the success in the future.”
The new open plan office and its modern facilities are home to the team of six qualified staff, who provide professional agricultural guidance and support to NFU Cymru farmer and grower members in the north Glamorgan area. In addition to this, insurance and financial services are provided to a wide range of business and personal customers within the area.
NFU Cymru Group Secretary, Karen Yates and her team have a wealth of business experience and attribute their success to the standard of service provided and building long-lasting relationships with members.
Karen said, “The new office shows our commitment to continuing to provide a high quality service to members and customers in the local area and we are keen to show them what we can offer.

The new office’s address is 9 Magden Park, Green Meadow, Ely Valley Road, Llantrisant, CF72 8XT. The telephone contact details remain the same as before the move from Llanharan.
