Llwyncelyn Bridge Closure Plans

Llwyncelyn Bridge Closure Plans

Residents and motorists are being reminded that essential road resurfacing works, which will affect the one-way system in Porth, are to be carried out on Sunday 27th April.

The road between the Llwyncelyn Hotel and Chequered Flag car sales, crossing Llwyncelyn Bridge will be closed from 7am to 4pm.

The works are taking place on a Sunday, when traffic levels are lower, to minimise disruption.

The important works to resurface Llwyncelyn Bridge form part of the Council’s ongoing commitment to respond to the public demand to improve the condition of roads and highways.

Diversions will be in place during the works and motorists are urged to follow the signage.

From The Llwyncelyn Hotel motorists will have to follow Llwyncelyn Rd, then Porth bypass, to the Heritage Park Roundabout, then head back up the bypass towards Porth and take the third right into Eirw Rd which they can follow to Chequered Flag car sales
