Disability Wales

Separate helplines for Disability Living Allowance and Attendance Allowance customers

The Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Attendance Allowance (AA) helplines are separating. From Wednesday 29 January 2014:

The Attendance Allowance Service Centre will be on telephone number is 0345/0845 605 6055 with the text phone number 0845 6045312.

The DLA Helpline will continue with its existing number 08457 123456 with the text phone number 08457 224433.

Process for obtaining an Appeal Pack against a decision notified on or after 28 October 2013

Customers should be advised that they can download an appeal pack by visiting either:

http://www.justice.gov.uk/tribunals/sscs/appeals and selecting the option “SSCS1” or
https://www.gov.uk/appeal-benefit and selecting the option “Appeal form SSCS1’’

The Appeal pack is also available from local advisory services such as the Citizens Advice Bureau.
