Cwm Taf Health Board will be taking part in the Great Comic Relief Bake Off on Friday.
Staff from across the health board will be putting on their red noses to take up the Mary Berry challenge by baking cakes and pastries to sell in aid of Comic Relief.
This is a fun way of taking part in the annual event and all levels of catering ability will be put to the test when producing culinary delights.
Staff have been busy baking pies, pastries, cake and biscuits to raise money for this year’s fundraising event - from teacakes to tartlets, muffins to meringues, biscuits to brownies.
Eleanor Powell, Cwm Taf Health Board’s lead chaplain said: “Mine‘s a raspberry muffin although my practice run on the weekend scored a ‘could do better’ as I had a soggy bottom and a flat top! The raspberries were nice though.”
She added: “I really hope people will come along to support Comic Relief. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s donned an apron, raided their cupboards and cooked for Comic Relief.
“I’m always amazed at the generosity of staff when it comes to fundraising for special appeals. The cake sale for Comic Relief will be no exception.”
