As part of its Grad Edge initiative, the University of South Wales is hosting the Graduate Jobs Fair Wales on 11th March, an employer exhibition and seminar programme to improve students’ employability.

The event, being held at the University’s City Campus in Newport from 12noon to 3pm, is the perfect opportunity to find out about graduate opportunities, work placements and volunteering opportunities in Wales.

The free event is open to all students and will be attended by more than 20 employers including PwC, the Intellectual Property Office, BAE, npower, CGI, Carillion, Barratt and the NHS.

Arranged by the Careers and Employability Service at the University, this one day event includes a comprehensive programme of tailored talks and networking opportunities, providing a fantastic opportunity to speak to key professionals and to find out about internship and graduate opportunities.

Speaking about the event Euros Evans, Head of Careers and Employability at the University said: “The event will allow students to improve their understanding and knowledge of possible future career opportunities within various sectors. They will also be able to gain tips on how to gain employment in their chosen sector.”
