Charlie Morgan, an Independent Grassland Consultant, will be the guest speaker at the next Glamorgan NFU Cymru county meeting on Tuesday, 3 June 2014.

Starting at 2pm, the meeting will be held at Mynachdy Farm, Heol-y-Mynach, Ynysybwl, by kind permission of the Isaac family and is open to all NFU Cymru members.

Charlie Morgan is an independent grassland consultant, who worked for IGER/IBERS for 22 years. Whilst working here he helped develop new grass varieties and grazing methods to benefit UK agriculture. Charlie is an author of over 60 scientific publications; Chairman of HCC’s Scholarship Association; and Secretary of the Welsh Federation of Grassland Societies. Since 2009 he has been working across the UK as an Independent Grassland Consultant for individual farmers and other organisations.

Glamorgan NFU Cymru Chairman, Abi Reader said, “We are grateful to Charlie Morgan, for agreeing to come and address the meeting. I hope we will get a good turnout of local NFU Cymru members, it will be especially nice to see the younger members attending this meeting. Refreshments will be provided, so please can you contact Stella Owen on 01982 554200 to register your attendance.”
