The book, which features over 90 stories from South Wales Police dog handlers, was the novel idea of South Wales Police Inspector Mark Hobrough and the stories have been brought to life by author John Gaye, Deputy Chairman of Dogs Trust.

The money raised from book sales and fundraising will initially go to improving the facility for our dogs and horses, and longer term will support many individual animal welfare projects. A Hero’s Tail is a collaborative project between South Wales Police, Dog’s Trust and Wood Green, the animal charity
