Fancy a great day out on the golf course in aid of three charities? Then why not sign up for a Charity Golf Pairs Tournament to be held at Aberdare Golf Club on Friday, May 16, 2014, in aid of the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.

Rhondda Cynon Taf’s Mayor, Cllr Ann Crimmings, has chosen to support Guide Dogs Cymru, Macmillan Cancer Support (RCT) and Diabetes Peer Support for Children (RCT) during her year of office. Cllr Crimmings is hosting the Charity Golf Pairs Tournament in aid of these charities - and she needs your support to help make it a success.

There will be fantastic prizes up for grabs to the top golfers on the day, with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd pairs, nearest the pin, longest drive and best individual score. The event will also include a two-course meal and a raffle.

Cllr Crimmings said: "One of my most pleasant roles as mayor involves raising money for good causes, and I have chosen to support three charities during my year in office which are very personal to me. I am hoping many golfers will join us for a great day out, to help raise funds for these very worthy causes which support residents in Rhondda Cynon Taf."

The entry fee for the day is £80 a pair. To enter, please call 01443 424123 or e-mail rhian.edwards@rctcbc.gov.uk
