The Young People’s Village is to be the first camp site to offer free Wi-Fi during the week of the Royal Welsh Show.

The Young People’s Village is a camping and entertainment complex for young people who wish to stay for the Royal Welsh Show. This year YPV campers will be able to access Wi-Fi throughout the site, 24/7 thanks to Dragon Wi-Fi and Gem Services.

Wales YFC Events Chairman, Tom Bevan said;
“Wales YFC are pleased to be the first campsite to offer free Wi-Fi to our campers. In an area where mobile coverage is limited, especially during the week of the Show with the high volumes of people, it is important that we offer the facility for our campers to be able to connect with their friends and family via the internet. This will make us one of the safest campsites during the week of the Show. Wales YFC are committed to improving the Village year after year. Along with the free Wi-Fi, we have installed CCTV cameras and improved lighting throughout the site to ensure the site is as safe as possible.”

There are still plots available at the YPV, these can be purchased on the gate upon arrival. Tickets for the entertainment each night can also be purchased on the gate.
