Residents and motorists are advised to be aware of two emergency road closures affecting the County Borough.
Essential maintenance work is to be carried out at Wood Road, Treforest, from its junction with Stow Hill to its junction with Tower Street.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is advising motorists of a temporary road closure due to gas mains replacement work, carried out by Wales and West Utilities.
The temporary road closure will be in place from Wednesday, 26th March, until 2300 hours on Friday, 16th May, 2014. Diversion routes will be in place and clearly signposted.
Access will be maintained throughout for pedestrians, residents of Wood Road and Cliff Terrace, and all emergency service vehicles.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is also assessing the condition of the structure at Rhiwsaeson Bridge, the road leading to Llwynmilwas Farm, Rhiwsaeson.
As a result, an emergency road closure is in place. Diversion routes will be in place and clearly signposted.
