Aberdare Carnival and Show Co Ltd, was formed in March 2007 to ensure the survival of Aberdare Carnival on behalf of Cancer Research UK, Cynon Valley Committee. Our aim is to carry out fundraising to cover all expenses of the Aberdare Show which for over 40 years has been carried out by The Cynon Valley Committee, any residue from our efforts will be passed on to Cynon Valley Committee as a donation to Cancer Research UK.

Mountain Ash and District Choral Society is one of the oldest mixed choirs in South Wales with its roots dating back to 1964. As the name suggests, although based in Mountain Ash, we draw members from as far afield as Cardiff, Merthyr and Glynneath. Rehearsals are held every Wednesday evening (during school term time) in Bethania chapel vestry in Phillip Street, Mountain Ash. Although we currently number more than 70 members, we’re actively seeking new members, particularly tenor and bass voices.
