To celebrate National Libraries Day on February 11, Aberdare Library is inviting residents to come and take advantage of the free e-books, audio books and online magazines they can enjoy, thanks to their local service.
Members of all Rhondda Cynon Taf Libraries can access a range of reading and listening material they can enjoy on their laptop, home PC, smartphone, tablet or e-reader.
People who are interested in finding out more, want to learn how to download the material or who want to join and begin benefiting from free membership to their local library are invited to the free event at the library, which is open from 10am to 3pm.
As well as learning about the material that can be downloaded to your personal device, you can also find out about the great credit-crunch-busting services on offer at your local library, including access to best-sellers, DVDs and CDs for hire for a small cost, internet access, research and revision material that is usually expensive to buy, events and much much more!
If you wish to join the library on the day, don’t forget to bring ID with your name and address on it, so staff can join you up before you start! Find out more on the Libraries web page
