…and more

And with funding now available through Creative Skillset Cymru’s Freelance Fund, eligible freelancers can attend this two-day residential course for just £90+VAT. *Without the funding, the registration fee for the two-day course is still great value, at just £450+VAT.

You will also get sight of the latest industry-standard workflows across the entire end-to-end production process, and explore options for working with and managing files.

Aimed not just at Data Wranglers / Digital Imaging Technicians, the course is for anyone who needs to understand on-set digital data workflows – from senior management to creatives and engineers.

“The opportunities for smarter and more efficient working practices through end-to-end digital workflows should be of utmost interest to any media company. I applaud Creative Skillset Cymru for commissioning this scheme, and I urge media professionals in the Convergence Areas of Wales to book themselves onto it.” – Steve Cowin, Chief Technical Officer at S4C

The course, ‘Data Wrangling and Digital Workflows’ is run by The Knowledge Lab, who design and deliver file-based production training around the world for Sky, Foxtel, Sky News Arabia, Ericsson, TV4, BBC and more. It has been commissioned by Creative Skillset Cymru.

Data Wrangling Tutors Martin Parsons and Joe Steel are recognised as leaders in their field and have credits including Prometheus, Pirates of the Caribbean, Fast & Furious and Star Trek: Into Darkness, as well as spots for leading brands such as Apple, Adidas, Nike, Nintendo, KFC, O2, Samsung and Sky.
