Congratulations, commiserations and carrying on regardless

You cannot have failed to notice that today is A level results day, an important day in the lives of many young people.
RCT Welsh Liberal Democrats offers many congratulation to all those who have attained the grades they needed to go on to University and follow their chosen path, and to all those who have chosen a different option but who have nonetheless achieved what they set out to.
There will be some who will have missed out on their target, but please don't get despondent. There are still options available for University via UCAS with many Universities still having places on offer.
Not everyone wants to go to University of course - and why would they? It is not the be all and end all and not everyone is cut out for the academic life. Their achievements in whatever field they choose are to be similarly applauded.
So if you were up there with the top achievers well done, and if you didn't do as well as you hoped, don't give up. There is life after A levels in any number of forms.
