South Wales Police

POLICE in Treforest are appealing for information after a cashpoint robbery which occurred on the Treforest Industrial Estate.
Officers investigating the incident have released CCTV footage of two suspects running away from the scene, in the hope that somebody will recognise them.
The incident occurred at 11pm on December 28th 2012.
A 20 year-old man who works for a local business was grabbed and pulled to the ground by a man as he was using the Post Office cashpoint on Cardiff Road.
He was held on the ground while another person – possibly a female - arrived on the scene to withdraw cash hundreds of pounds from the machine, using the victim’s card.
It is believed both men made off in the direction of Nantgarw China Works.
