Are you a Carer in Rhondda Cynon Taf? Do you need to be updated on the important changes on Welfare Reform that are being introduced by the UK Government?

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Carers Support Project is hosting a Carers’ Welfare Reform Workshop at Pontypridd YMCA on Monday, March 18, from 10am until 12.30pm.

All Carers in Rhondda Cynon Taf are welcome to attend the event to find out how changes to the benefit system will affect them personally.

As well as an information workshop, refreshments, and an informal chat, the event also offers the opportunity to meet with other Carers in the County Borough.

The Welfare Reform changes are intended to make the benefits system simpler, reduce dependency on benefits and make work pay. The system is being reformed to help people to move into and progress in work, while also supporting the most vulnerable.
