Bowls night in aid of mayor's charities

Bowls night in aid of mayor's charities

Mayor Cllr Ann Crimmings

Teams are invited to sign up now for a charity bowling night in March, in aid of the Mayor of Rhondda Cynon Taf’s Charity Appeal.

Mayor Cllr Ann Crimmings has chosen to support Guide Dogs Cymru, Macmillan Cancer Support (RCT) and Diabetes Peer Support for Children (RCT) during her year of office. The Charity Bowling Night to be held at Bowlplex, Nantgarw, on Thursday, March 20, 2014 will raise funds for these three charities.

Entry cost is £9.00 per person for two games and the event gets underway from 6pm. There will be prizes for the highest-scoring team and highest-scoring individual, and a raffle will also be held.

Cllr Crimmings said: "The bowling night promises to be a lot of fun, as well as raising money for three very worthy causes, so why not join in?"

To reserve a lane, please call 01443 424123 or e-mail rhian.edwards@rctcbc.gov.uk
