It gets worse by the day - the appalling misuse of public money to fuel the Labour propaganda machine in Rhondda Cynon Taff.
As we have pointed out on several occasions the Head of Strategy and Public relations is the son of a Labour Cabinet Member He is a former candidate for the party and was given his current job and subsequent huge salary increase without it being advertised and with no interview.

Despite the code of conduct for officers stating quite clearly they should demonstrate no political bias Christian Hanagan was pictured on the Labour website prior to the election in photographs which were the copyright of the Council having first appeared on its website. He was present with the Labour contingent at the last three elections, on his own time according to the Chief Executive.
Time and again we have seen a crossover of articles appearing on both the Council website and the RCT Labour one. But it is getting worse because the articles are getting more and more party political.

If the Labour party want to have a go at us then fair enough, we give as good as we get, but, like us, they should do it at their own expense and maybe actually put a bit of thought into it. What they shouldn't be doing is using taxpayers' money to promote themselves.
A few days ago it was the tragic tale of how many manifesto promises they had to break because of coalition cut backs apparently. The day after it appeared on the Council site

it appeared on the RCT Labour one

albeit with a few extra digs.
Yesterday came an article on the council tax reduction scheme - a little premature given the announcement by the Local Government Minister which came just hours after. Again it is overtly political in nature, and really is a mark of their attitude to the people they are supposedly there to serve.
