American Music Fills The Park

Why not lose the worries of the day with a lunchtime walk in the park accompanied by tranquil music?

That’s what’s on offer at Rhondda Heritage Park, Trehafod, when talented duo Scott-McNicholas perform classic songs from the Great American Songbook.

The award-winning Trehafod tourist attraction will resound to the music of Gerswin, Porter and Rodgers and Hart on Friday April 11th.

Sue Scott started learning piano at the age of six and is an Associate of the London College of Music. She played with a Big Band in Bristol and has been performing around South Wales with singer Steph McNicholas since 2008.

Steph has sung in bands for more than 30 years and has been lead singer with Cardiff-based country band Cheatin’ Hearts since 2000. Scott-McNicholas also include hits made famous by Elvis and Patsy Cline in their set.

Music at the Park takes place on Friday April 11th from 12pm to 2pm.

Admission is free but booking is essential. For further details contact 01443 682036.
